Surprise party!

We had secret birthday party planned for our lovely friend, Helen….and what a suprise it was, we caught her totally off guard, a few happy shocked tears were shed! We had all made gluten/ dairy free dishes for those of us that were intolerant and dressed up ‘Fru Fru Over the top’ and sipped on Champagne!

Great Birthday!

It seems like my birthday has gone on for ever! The reason why is because I have so many fab friends. On wednesday, which was my birthday, My lovely friend Helen hosted a Tea party for me! It was a gorgeous day and we had a fab time…. then on the Friday we had a get together again!… I got a wonderful handmade reversible apron from my darling friend Emma and some bunting from another friend Kate.

My Birthday Tea Party

I had the most wonderful day today with allof my wonderful friends! I just want to say that you are the best and thankyou to all of you that have helped Gerry and I out in the last wee while with us feeling under the weather! You are fab!

Helen put a tea party on at her house for my birthday and we all had to put an apron on when we arrived before we started sipping our tea. There were chocolate eclairs, fudge, scones, pav, salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, bubbles and Birthday Cake. Thankyou Auntie Pammi and Claire for coming all the way out from Wellington..we had a very special day! The kids had a blast filling up on anything sweet!.. Stella Mia made a very important point that ..’ it isn’t a party without fairy bread!’…..and so fairy bread there was!

Sitting and eating and sipping on tea and bubbles went well with chitter chatter about anything and everything! What more could I want…..
